The “CAREER BRAIN Undokai Academy” uses Japan’s unique culture event, “Undokai (Sports Day)”,
as a training material to help high school students, college students who are about to enter the workforce,
and new corporate employees acquire leadership skills.
We host Undokai in various locations that people of all generations can participate in, and aim to help them acquire teamwork, individual skills, organizational management, negotiation skills, and problem-solving skills through planning, gathering sponsors, setting up the venue, and managing the day. Currently, the Nova Vita Foundation, an NPO of Orange County high school students, is taking students through the CAREER BRAIN Undokai Academy.
At the academy, students learn about event management, business development, promotion, marketing, human resources, budget management, participant management, booth management, etc. It is aimed at a wide range of student groups and companies who want to acquire practical skills that will be useful for society and will provide guidance to internal groups.
At the same time, it is possible to hold custom-made sports days tailored to the participants and purpose, such as birthday sports days, sports days for people with disabilities, corporate sports days, and sports days for local communities.
Ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, CAREER BRAIN aims to develop human resources involved in the management of sports days through this “Sports Day Academy,” as well as introduce and spread the Japanese culture of sports days in American society.
