She has collaborated with publishers and held fairs with a book selection corner at Kinokuniya bookstore in Los Angeles. In her personal activities, she focuses on stimulating children’s senses and activating their brains with live voices, rather than voices from video games, TV, and other devices, and reads picture books to children in Orange County, California, and in the United States and Japan.

Sakura Radio DoctorKay is the navigator of “Radio Doctor”. She has been in charge of this program since May 2022. She covers everything from familiar health questions to medical trends and the latest research, We interview doctors specializing in various fields. So far, 21 doctors have been featured in 40 episodes (as of December 2023). (As of December, 2023) Their fields of expertise range from psychiatry and gynecology to infectious diseases, oncology and more therapeutic area.

She has worked as a headhunter in the life science industry in the past and has always had a lot of experience working with medical professionals. She conducts preliminary meetings with doctors and thoroughly researches the content of interviews before recording. His strength lies in the interviewing skills he developed during his time as a headhunter, such as asking doctors questions so that even difficult medical information can be presented to listeners in an easy-to-understand manner.

We also try to create a relaxing environment for the doctors, rather than the usual tense atmosphere of a medical office. Times have changed, and it has become more important in our society for people to make their own decisions. This is also true in the medical field. We hope that Radio Doctor will increase information and knowledge and give you more choices.
